The SIRC objectives:
The Southern Indiana Running Club (SIRC) is dedicated to supporting runners of all ages—starting at age 5 through adulthood—in achieving their personal and athletic goals. Our objectives include:
Healthy Lifestyles
Enhance physical conditioning through individualized and team-based training programs, complemented by technique advice. Whether you're just starting out or an experienced runner, our program supports lifelong fitness and well-being.
Self-Discipline
Foster the ability to set goals and commit to a structured training program in the disciplines of cross country and track & field. While running is often a team sport, it also demands mental and physical resilience, challenging participants to grow with every stride.
Personal Development
Equip all runners with the tools to celebrate their own and others’ accomplishments, while learning to face and overcome adversity—on the course, on the track, and in everyday life.
Inclusion
We are committed to building a welcoming community that brings together individuals from diverse backgrounds across Southern Indiana. Through shared experiences and mentorship, we encourage every runner to be the best version of themselves—both on and off the course.
